With the unfortunate cancellation of Jurassic Regattas at Bridport and Lyme Regis the Poole regatta will decide the final category and league positions for the nine competing clubs.
The league sponsors for the past three years, AEP Ltd, have kindly provided a fantastic range of trophies and medals to be presented all of which will be retained by the winning clubs and crews.
Poole Gig Club will be hosting their first regatta having competed in the Jurassic League for the past two years.
The Jurassic League has been extended this year to include a Men’s and Ladies Supervets League making 10 racing categories and is described as a league within a league.

Just 4 points separate the top 3 junior crews.
In the Men’s B, Swanage and Langstone are joint leaders with Lyme just 1 point adrift.
There is just a 6-point gap between the top four clubs in the Men’s A.
In the Men’s Vets there is only a 4-point gap between the top three clubs.

The successful template of the Jurassic league has now been adopted in parts of Cornwall and Devon, it is hoped that a League Championship Final between the various league and category winners can be arranged for the 2020 season. Exciting news for us all!
