Post Update – Now Sold!
Newhaven Gig Rowing Club is selling Amelie, a wooden Cornish Pilot Gig, registration #32.
The gig is in good condition, with her last major re-fit fully completed after participating in the World Pilot Gig Championships in 2023 by CE Jenkins Boat Building.
Amelie was built in 1993 by Ralph Bird. The reason for sale is NGRC have recently purchased Henry Smardon from Brixham Gig Club and the need for boat storage on and off the water. The guide price is £5,500.
