GigRower has launched a new GigRower membership, with the aim of creating change in our sport. The member clubs of the Cornish Pilot Gig Association recently voted to introduce an individual membership scheme. As a result, the CPGA have introduced ‘GigRower membership – a new way to support your sport’.
GigRower membership subscriptions will provide the resources to plan new events, enhance existing competitions and develop junior rowing. To find out more about GigRower membership visit gigrower.co.uk/iamgigrower/
Toby Budd founded GigRower in 2007 as an online resource for the gig rowing community. Through the work of volunteers the website went from strength to strength, sharing news, invitations, results and information. Over time, GigRower became part of the CPGA and has hosted indoor rowing championships, produced magazines, captured racing through photography and live streamed events.
In 2019, a CPGA survey generated lots of feedback from the community asking for change, development and more support for clubs and events.

The new GigRower membership will help us to make the changes our members have asked for across the sport”.
