The GigRower Stream Team are arriving on the islands in preparation for their live coverage of this years racing. There are some brand new volunteers alongside our experienced Stream Team members.
On the shore, David George and Alec Colyer will be capturing stories from clubs and documenting the high and lows of competing crews. You will probably recognise them from previous championship as between them they have covered countless championships as part of the BBC outside broadcast team.
On the water, a volunteer team of commentators, camera operators and technical assistants will be capturing the race action. The team will be joined by droning professional Steve Strachan of South West Sky Visions.
The live broadcast will begin by 11.30am on Friday ready for the Ladies’ Vets St Agnes Round 1 and will continue throughout the weekend.
