COVID UPDATE – RETURN TO ROWING
The CPGA statement of 16th March remains in place.
Many of you have seen the BR guidance that has been published to support their rowing clubs as they return to the water.
The CPGA guidance for the safe return to rowing will be forthcoming.
Gig rowing currently sits outside the DCMS one (1) metre distancing requirements. Eg distancing of 1m is not possible in a gig as thwart to thwart rowers are just 34 inches / 0.86cm apart.
The CPGA are seeking further guidance / clarification to ensure rowing can return in the safest possible manner.
