Three rowers from Bude Pilot Gig Club are currently completing an epic row on their ergos.
Gabi, Neil and Jody are are rowing 298KM to the Scillies and back on their Ergos with Gabi completing 5K everyday in May (155KM total) along with Neil completing 100KM and Jody 43KM by the end of May.
The idea was for Gabi to row to the Scillies on her own in view of missing the WPGC this year due to the cancellation but when the others decided to show support and take part, they soon realised that it would be possible to ergo the leg back from IOS to Bude.
The group of rowers are now raising funds for The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, running a daily blog on Facebook and Instagram just search #r5keim.
