This Saturday see’s the return of the infamous Mini Scillies regatta hosted by Helford Gig Club as the second race of the season which we will be bringing you LIVE from our Stream Team.
Many of the counties top crews are in attendance in what will be the first short, straightline gig race which may give some indications of crew form going into the World Champs in May.
The first race kicks off with the Men’s Vets at 12:30pm.
Course & Weather
Low tide: 3pm
Weather: This should bring some challenging waters even to those experienced crews – with a brisk 15 knot SW Wind blowing up through the channel hitting nose to side on – will bring some choppy waters at the start and for 2/3rds of the race. It should stay mostly dry with the odd chance of a shower.
