Saturday 12th sees the second edition of the National County Championship hosted by Devon at the Mount Batten Watersports Centre.
We will see six counties battle it out across several categories in search of glory of the newly introduced championship medals designed by Debbie Veitch.

Location
Mount Batten Watersports & Activities Centre, Lawrence Road, Plymouth, PL9 9SL.
All loaned gigs are requested to be supplied with seats and pins. However, please could each crew bring oars, and ensure they have access to a working VHF radio and lifejacket.

Timings
Gigs are requested to arrive between 8:00 – 8:20am
Coxes meeting at 9:00am
First race to start at 9:30am

Refreshments
There will be breakfast rolls, as well as hot food, salads, sandwiches, cakes, hot/cold drinks and water refills available throughout the day from the Mount Batten Watersports Centre’s Waterfront Room (W).
Parking
There is a reserved area for trailer parking (3), but not for cars. Please bear in mind that there are residential flats along the Mount Batten waterfront, especially when maneouvering vehicles in the early morning.
There is free on-road parking along Lawrence Road (although this is a busy road so please take care) and in the car park to the left of this. There are also a limited number of free spaces in the car park near the breakwater roundabout. Parking at the Mount Batten Centre itself is £5 per day (which includes use of the showers) which can be paid for at their reception.
