Following the cancelling of the Lyme Regis Inaugural Masters Regatta last weekend, it was decided to stage a ‘Mini Masters’ to give the Bermudian teams an opportunity to race. Masters rowers from Sidmouth Gig Club and Bridport Gig Club joined the Bermudians and members of Lyme Regis Gig Club for an evening regatta on Monday 12th August.
With the inclusion of some ‘under age’ rowers, the teams enjoyed some exciting racing and generally had a great evening on the water and socialising…..finishing up in a local hostelry!
Lyme Regis Gig Club hopes to host its’ Inaugural Masters Regatta on Saturday 28th September.
