All 9 Jurassic League clubs battled for category places at Sidmouth who hosted the seasons 5th Regatta on Saturday 13th July 2019.
Ideal conditions and a packed seafront of enthusiastic visitors and supporters were entertained to a highly competitive day of Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing.
Close finishes were the order of the day at Sidmouth’s and the race commentator greatly added to the Regatta by explaining the racing and crew details to the many visitors watching.
League leaders Bridport finished in top place winning five of the race Categories closely followed by Langstone with Lyme Regis third.
With just 3 Regattas to go a number of race categories are still undecided.
Just 4 points separate the top 3 junior crews.
In the Men’s B, Swanage and Langstone are joint leaders with Lyme just 1 point adrift.
There is just a 6-point gap between the top four clubs in the Men’s A.
