Mount’s Bay Regatta – Entrants & Info

This Saturday see’s the return of the ever popular Mount’s Bay Regatta in the beautiful setting of Marazion with St Michael’s Mount as the race backdrop.

The last two weekend’s have saw big numbers attend Falmouth & Rock, but Mount’s Bay have trumped that again with a fantastic 37 Clubs attending with 40+ Boats taking to the waters.

The first race kicks off with the Men’s A at 12:00pm with the day set to stay settled with periods of sunshine and light breezes. Don’t forget the after party in the Gig Shed that follows racing and bring those dancing shoes!

Information

Coxswains meeting at 11:30 at Race HQ.

ALL Coxswains are required to register on the day at race HQ prior to racing.
First race away at 12:00 sharp. VHF channel 72. CPGA rules apply. Please have crews ready for changeovers on the beach. High tide: 08:06 – 5.4m / 20:30 – 5.6m. Low tide: 14:54 – 0.9m BST.

Racing will be completed over timed heats.

C crew races will take place in a heat immediately after the respective B races, meaning you will need to bring a second boat or borrow a boat if you wish to enter a crew. All crews are advised to follow the instructions of the beach marshalls on the tide line on the day for their own safety.
