RNAS Culdrose Launch ‘Osprey’

1

Last week saw Royal Navy Air Station Culdrose Gig Club host a visit from 3 times Olympic champion, LT CDR Peter Reed OBE.

Launching from the Watersports centre in Falmouth, Firstly Peter named Culdrose’s new training GRP Gig ‘Osprey’ then joined the team for a training session on Carrick Roads with the crew and Peter put through their paces.

RNAS Culdrose are not yet CPGA affiliated but they hope with this new training gig and a momentum behind them they will join the CPGA at a future date. We wish them all the best with the new training gig and hope to see them on the water soon!
