On Saturday 30th of March, Pendeen play host in Sandy Cove, Newlyn for the 9th edition of their plastic gig championships.
In what is looking like to be a scorcher of a day, several clubs will be fighting it out to be crowned the “Plastic Pig Champions” and take home the infamous Pig trophy to add to its medallions.
Last year’s winners, Mount’s Bay Gig Club will be looking to hold onto the Pig, but with some tough competition around, will they manage to hold onto it?

Boats to arrive at the venue from 8.15-9.30am with the Coxes meeting at 9.45am.
