The increasingly popular Atlantic Challenge is underway, hosted by Antrim Boat Club in Northern Ireland.
The contest is a rare chance for rowers from all over the world to test their seamanship in the historic Bantry Bay gigs, which can be sailed and rowed.
This years’ Team GB & Quebec comprises 6 young Cornish gig rowers, who have so far performed brilliantly.
From left to right: Jade Colton of Fowey, Tegan Baker of Rame, Harry Poulson formerly of Looe, Reuben Thompson from Falmouth, Rachel Poulson from Charlestown, and Rock’s Yasmin Woodward.

Well done everyone, especially Yasmine who has worked hard to get there!
