The Devon County team has had its first meeting and plans are now well underway looking ahead to the Tribute National County Championships being held on June 9th 2018. For this to be a success, we need all Devon Club members to get involved.
So if you fancy taking part in your County crew representing Devon, now is YOUR chance to get in touch.
To nominate yourself, please email devoncpga@gmail.com with the following information:
- Your name and Club you row for
- Which Category you wish to be considered for
- Your preferred rowing side (Bow or Stroke)
- Would you be prepared to take part in a 2K ergo test (Selection process)
If any club would like to nominate any particular members for each category, please follow the same process. The categories available are:
- U18 Female
- U18 Male
- Female Open
- Male Open
- Female Veterans
- Male Veterans
All nominations from individuals or clubs will be carefully considered. This is going to be quite a spectacle with all races being streamed live via Gig Rower, and potentially being shown live at the Royal Cornwall show! Lets put in a good show from the Devon clubs when competing with the likes of Cornwall, Dorset, Bristol and Clifton, London and Burnham on sea!
