They say that they’re looking “To fund a Cornish pilot gig to enable inclusive and competitive rowing in our community.
Rowing is a cheap, environmentally friendly and inclusive sport and activity. The costs of purchasing a second hand gig and accessories are approximately £15,000, although we have some funds available to help. This acquisition would help us attract more members too as we have hired a training gig and, since doing so, have attracted 16 new members.”
