Next month, a small team of lads will be taking on the challenge of rowing the coast of Cornwall in aid of raising money for research into Pancreatic cancer.
They’re inexperienced rowers but will be rowing one of Par Bay’s GRP gigs and using oars lent by Mevagissey Rowing Club.
Tristan Netherton said “Pancreatic cancer has only a 3% survival rate and to date we have almost raised £17,000, with a big desire to achieve far more by the time we’ve finished the challenge. It would be great to have clubs support us on our way around the coast and would be a big morale boost to the team on this 390 mile adventure.”

Their journey starts on August 5th from Fowey.
