GR Bike Ride 2015 – Oct 23rd – 25th 

As many of you will remember we used to organise a charity bike ride each autumn after the County Championships.

After a number of requests we have decided to do it again this year and so we’re pleased to now be in a position to announce the details:

Itinerary: 

> Train up to Taunton Thursday night with bikes transported in the van

> Thursday night: Hotel Accommodation in Taunton

> Friday: Over Exmoor to Bideford

> Saturday: South to Fowey

> Sunday: West over King Harry Ferry to Penzance and train home

Distance: Route TBC but around 200 miles over three days.

Cost:

We estimate that this will cost about £200 per person.

Based on each rider having to purchase train travel from where you live to Taunton, and from  Penzance back to where you started. Three nights accommodation, dinner and breakfast. Van support and bag transfer.

NOTE: This year we simply don’t have the resource to do all the admin, so we are asking riders to book the accommodation and train tickets themselves, we have arranged discounts and will send you all the details. The only contribution GigRower is asking for is £20 per rider for van fuel, snacks and driver accommodation.
