Port Isaac Regatta Info

We have limited space so can’t take many more boats but if any crews are already here for the Rock regatta and want to stay on please contact me for information.

The gig day will be held at Port Gaverne beach as usual.  The cox’s meeting will be held at 111.30pm, with the first race starting at 12.00pm.

Crews should approach Port Gaverne from China Downs to the North East and not through Port Isaac village.  There will be signs from the main road.  Gigs should arrive by 11.00am and will be left at the top of the hill above Port Gaverne. PIRC members will be available to assist and the gigs will be taken by us down to the beach. Trailers will then be parked back up the hill.  There will also be ample parking at the top of the hill for rowers and visitors. At the end of the day please do not collect your trailers, we will bring them down to the beach to load the boats and take them to the top of the hill for you to collect .As you will appreciate, it can get very congested in Port Gaverne and if clubs do not comply with this request chaos will ensue and tempers will fray!

A barbecue and assortment of delicious cake and sandwiches will be served throughout the afternoon and after completion of events, the presentation ceremony and further celebrations will be held at the Port Gaverne Hotel.
