Torpoint Mosquito Sailing Club are planning a new gig rowing section, according to an article in the Plymouth Herald.
Club secretary Bob Holder said: “I am delighted that Torpoint Mosquito has been given the chance to launch a rowing section. Establishing a rowing section will allow us to extend the range of activities we can offer and become a true water sports hub for local people. We welcome anyone who is interested in being in at the start of this exciting development to get in touch.”
Holder added: “We would love to hear from anyone from Torpoint’s now-closed rowing club, who is missing getting out on the water, as well as anyone new to the sport”.
