It was a sunny but cold day at the 2015 Three Rivers Race. By our reckoning the course was about half a mile longer this year, with the majority of the ladies fleet therefore finishing in over an hour. It was a particularly hard push into the wind on the homeward leg though crews had obviously had a good tailwind assistance whilst going in the other direction. This race was yet again a test of endurance and those who have put in the long distance training over the winter will hopefully have reaped the rewards.
Congratulations to Newquay Ladies A for winning their race and to Falmouth Men’s A for winning theirs. Caradon’s boat Amazon was the overall winner of the combined crew’s results.

Thank you to Hattie Day from the GigRower team who was out on the water at Three Rivers yesterday taking photos. She did get quite cold! They are now all up on the GigRower Facebook page HERE

Clevedon A crews were rowing Rodney Bey due to overrunning maintenance on Blackbird – with many thanks to Exmouth for the short notice loan!
