The GigRower Magazine – can you help?

The NEW GigRower magazine will be launched at the World Championships in Scilly at 8pm on Thursday night.

The magazine will be packed full of interesting articles including:

• Interviews with rowers, coxes, gig builders and organisers
• Features on good technique, nutrition and fitness for rowing
• Articles on the history of gig rowing over the centuries
• Long distance and overseas rowing opportunities
• Gig club news
• Information for rowers and spectators during the Championships
• Directory of all gigs in existence and taking part in the Worlds
• Events calendar for the whole of 2015

Information we would be grateful to receive from gig clubs and rowers to help us in the above include the following:

• Confirmation of the gigs they’re sending to Scilly and which crews are rowing in them
• Any photos of past Championships (especially early ones)
• Club news
• Details of regattas planned but not already announced via the CPGA
