Some rowers from Massachusetts, USA are keen to get over for to the Scilly Championships in May this year. They’ve been training all winter and have lined up boats to borrow from Devoran and Mevagissey Gig Clubs, although another for the Ladies Open race is also sought. But many of them still don’t have any accommodation.
If you’re able to help – and they accept that they’ll probably need to be split up around the island – then get in touch with their organiser Michael Levisuer via Radio Scilly (01720 423417) which has put out the call on their behalf.
