Bridport will soon have a new dry storage areas for their equipment, thanks to the completion of a new watersports centre which they’ll share with a local canoe club.
Sara Buchanan, the club’s chair, said:
“We are delighted to be moving into the new boathouse at the Watersports Centre in West Bay.
“Having clean and dry storage for our boats and equipment will make a huge difference and we will be a stone’s throw away from the slipways, making launching and retrieving a much quicker and easier experience.”
The project was led by Bridport town council and was funded by the district council.
