This annual event is always popular. With gigs launching off the beach in front of the Ferry Boat Inn at Helford Passage and finishing at the Gweek boatyard – about 45 minutes upstream. It’s a handicapped start to make it fair to the range of ages, craft and crew compositions.
The 2014 results are as follows, Hope (from Newquay Gig Club) finishing as the first gig over the line and fastest overall.
