That time of year has come again for rowers to head indoors and complete their winter training. Inevitably this will include the use of the rowing machine, so why not add an element of fun / competition to your training and enter an event!
Cornwall Open Championships – 26th Jan – Newquay Sports Centre This competition will offer individual events, a 500m challenge and also a team relay. Why not club together and enter a team in the relay? The day will support the RNLI ‘SOS’ day initiative. Find the poster here: adult champs poster Application form: Open champs app 2013
Juniors Indoor rowing is part of the school games framework, meaning that most schools will offer the chance to compete in a local, county and regional competition. Clubs can get involved by running an indoor club for their local school. There are now many operating including Cape Cornwall, Saltash, Penryn, Bude & Looe. This no doubt helps with junior recruitment and training. Please contact your local school to encourage them to enter!

Hi Joseph,
This is a schools competition – all information went out to schools before christmas and again yesterday – you need to be able to hit 85% of the gold medal target to enter, I suggest you get in contact with your head of PE who should have all the info,
Thanks
