What an amazing turnout Port Isaac Rowing Club enjoyed on New Years’ Day for their Annual Gig Push. On behalf of the club, Chairman, Gail Morwood was especially proud to present a cheque for £1100, a result of 50% of all money raised during 2011 to Mr Creagh, Consultant Oncologist for the Cornwall Leukaemia Trust, founded in 1981 to help patients with leukaemia and allied disorders in Cornwall. About 250 new patients with these diseases are seen in the Haematology Department at Treliske Hospital each year. www.cornleuk.co.uk
