From Gill – ” Have any Cornish Pilot Gig Clubs been invited to take part in the Queens jubilee “Row Past”. Having just seen the national news boasting 1000 boats of various classes including Dutch barges and Dragon boats! It seems ridiculous and bizarre that British/Cornish vessels being traditional British boats… would not be included! ”
Thanks Gill, yes we believe a number Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing’s 61 clubs (with their 140+ boats and thousands of active rowers) are planning to take part. It’ll be an amazing sight.
