A wee while ago, I departed England’s shores for sunny (? – not today) NZ, and having spent years looking for something I liked that captured the essence of our great sport, started my little rowing art venture. O4rsom Ltd
This all stemmed from the time I competed for GB, so has been 20 years in the making!
Being a mad water-sports participant, (and my mother having rowed Gig boats from Looe Harbour in the 1950/60s, I had always planned to diversify into other forms of rowing – especially those boats that venture onto the ocean.
Last year I was invited to exhibit some originals at the Henley Royal Regatta. As a result of this, I will be exhibiting at the River and Rowing Museum’s Wall Gallery from May to August 2012, as their build up towards the Olympics.
