The Scillonian III is allowed to carry 600 passengers again. The MCA had restricted the numbers to 450. The Route Partnership had planned to build a new boat to take over from 2013 now that’s not happening. We asked the MCA why they made the decision and was there political pressure? – no response. Jeff Marsden, Chief Exec, says it good news ahead of the busy gig weekend and extra tickets have been released.
