hi, just a bit of social history about the gig “Sussex” my gran, Bertha Jenkins was the last bride to go from Bryher to Tresco in a gig as Bryher church wasnt licenced for weddings! my grampy sat next to his bride to be, they were married 52 years (so much for it being bad luck to see the bride before the service!)
i’m very glad to see the Sussex restored and back in Scilly
