On Saturday 11th April, Helford River Gig Club launched their new gig. Called Pedyn Billy, the boat was ordered in 2007 and built by David Currah. The gig is named after a headland in the Helford River, and was named and blessed by the vicar of Mawnan Smith, Rosalind Paul. Rosalind was then taken as a passenger for the boats first outing.
Thank you to Gavin for the report & pics.
