Portishead lock to Clifton Suspension Bridge and Bristol lock
The Bristol Gig Club is arranging a River Avon race, ‘The Bristol Challenge’, on Saturday 21 March 2009. The race starts at Portishead lock and progresses down the Avon, finishing under Clifton Suspension Bridge – about 9 nautical miles in all.
