About: CRAB is the Cornwall Rowing Association for the Blind. They are a crew of blind rowers who compete in Cornish Pilot Gig rowing. Founded in the Scillies by a group of blind people who had been introduced to the sport of Cornish Pilot Gig rowing. They went on to form a crew and initially competed in borrowed boats. In 2003 after a successful application for funding and determined fundraising by friends the Dall Lewyer was built by renowned boat builder Ralph Bird.
