Could you help run the GigRower website and social media?

The CPGA are looking for someone in the gig rowing community to take over the running of the GigRower website and the associated administration involved in promoting the sport and its heritage.

This position would ideally suit someone who is regularly involved in gig rowing themselves, attends plenty of regattas and has a background in marketing and website management; possibly also in sales.

The role requires a approx 15 minutes per weekday, to check and respond to emails, post news and results to the website and social media, plus liaise with advertisers, sponsors, rowers and gig club secretaries.

You will be reporting to the CPGA trustees and the Communications Officer, Toby Budd.

Essential experience/knowledge of:

WordPress websites

Management of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Copywriting and proof-reading.


Experience of working with Google Applications (e.g. email, Google Docs and Sheets, Analytics).

Photo or video editing skills.

Sales and/or PR background.

As well as working from home you will have the option to use our new CPGA offices at the Krowji in Redruth.
