Updated – Monday 3rd June – more gig coaches needed to take survey!
Pat Morris from Falmouth Gig Club has been in touch to say that there have been some good responses to this survey, but if more gig rowers would take part it would be great as, currently, most respondents are from other forms of rowing.
If you are, or have been, a rowing coach, please take part in this survey. It would be great to have feedback from the gig rowing community as this is a survey going out to all forms of rowing. Please contact Pat via [email protected] if you would like her assistance or have any questions.
Here is the official invite from British Rowing:
The National Coaching Committee of British Rowing is conducting a survey of coaches to help us plan for the future. Please forward this invitation to anyone in your club who currently coaches, used to coach or would like to start coaching.
The link to the survey is at http://surveys.britishrowing.org/s3/Coaching2017.
Invitation to participate in the National Coaching Committee’s Coaches Survey
If you currently coach, used to coach or would like to start coaching, we need your help. We are interested in coaching of sliding seat, fixed seat and indoor rowing, and you do not need to be qualified, or a member of BR to take part.
By telling us about your coaching, how you feel about it, and the type of support you would like, you will help us to plan for the future.
To get involved, click here and complete our survey. It should take you around 10 minutes. The information collected will only be used for survey purposes and will be treated as confidential.
You can complete the survey anonymously if you wish. Please add your name and e-mail address if you are happy to be contacted for further research or would like to be entered into the prize draw for a chance to win one of three Amazon gift vouchers.
If you recently responded to the British Rowing School survey, please participate in this one as well as we are seeking different information.
Thank you for your help.
