Falmouth Gig Club are hoping you’ll sponsor them in their forthcoming Children in Need rowing challenge.

On the 17th/18th November, members of Falmouth Men’s Squad will be will be attempting to row non stop for 24 hours in the choppy coastal waters of the Carrick Roads, Falmouth.completing a challenge to raise money for Children in Need.

There will be a ccrew of 6 men and 1 woman (many of whom are multiple County and World Champions).  They will not be resting or returning to shore at any point during the 24 hour challenge so all activities (such as eating, drinking, going to the toilet etc) will take place whilst the boat is on the move.

Often in challenges like this, there will be an additional crew member taking part so that members of the team can rotate and have some rest. This is not the case in this challenge, all crew members will be rowing or coxswaining at all times!

N.B. For every sponsorship of £10, you receive 1 entry into the prize draw. Prizes include meals out, boxes of pasties, retail vouchers and more! £50 sponsor = 5 entries!
