 Sharp’s Brewery rows in to sponsor the on-the-water photography at the World Pilot Gig Championships, on the Isles of Scilly this weekend.

Gig crews giving their all in the 2016 World Pilot Gig Championships will be able to relive the excitement of the races thanks to Sharp’s Brewery.

Sharp’s Brewery, based in Rock, North Cornwall, is sponsoring the on-the-water photography at the iconic event this weekend. With photographer Anna Willmot taking to the high seas to capture the thrilling races from a speedboat, all participating gig rowers then have the chance to enjoy the drama of the competition and share the spirit of adventure when back on dry land.

James Nicholls, Sharp’s Brewery’s Senior Brand Manager, said: “It is an honour to help to capture the adventure and spirit of the crews at the World Pilot Gig Championships by sponsoring the on-the-water photography.
