We’d like to thank everyone for all the positive feedback we have received about our first ever GigRower magazine. And thank once again everyone who helped contribute to the publication.
Here are just some of the lovely comments we have been sent:
“Very professional, technically and generally, extremely helpful. Really enjoyed going through it. You have done gig rowing proud”
“Fantastic pictures and magazine!”
” It’s a great magazine, informative with fantastic photos!”
“Great magazine. Well done to all involved”
“This is more like a book than a mag with great articles about boats, different clubs, technique and the history of rowing! Well done GigRower!”
We are delighted to announce that we intend bringing out another edition in time for the 2016 World Championships. Next time we’ll call it more of an almanac or yearbook, because as some people have said, calling this one a ‘magazine’ didn’t ultimately do justice to what we had produced.
So, now you’ve seen the format, please let us know if you’d like to contribute, have suggestions for features, ideas on what we could do better or add, or if you know of anyone who might like to advertise.
Throughout the summer we will be asking clubs to send in pictures, results and reports on their regattas. Plus any other news that they’d like to share.
The intention is to then bring out a smaller supplement magazine in time for the County Championships at Newquay. So if you would like to contribute, please send material in to us at [email protected] N.B. Photos for printing must be in as high a resolution quality as possible.
