Mount’s Bay Pilot Gig Club wish to extend a warm welcome to the first Tribute Championships event of the 2012 season.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 26 under the iconic landmark St Michael’s Mount.
Race proceedings will start at 1pm prompt.

10.00 – Refreshments available at the boat shed
10.00 – Gigs to start arriving
11.45 – Umpires briefing at race control
12.30 – Coxswains briefing at race control
13.00 – Racing commences

- Mixed – time permitting
All races will be run under CPGA race rules. Racing will start promptly and anyone not obeying starters orders or holding up proceedings unnecessarily may be disqualified.
C crews wanting to compete will require a second gig. Please notify the club if you will be entering a C crew by Thursday May 24. The under 14’s race will run as a heat of the under 16’s race, crews will this also require a second gig for this race.
The deadline for CPGA race entires has now passed, but if you wish to enter C crews, mixed, veterans or under 14’s please notify by Thursday May 24. CPGA berth sheets will be published on the 19th of May by Anne Curnow-Care, please contact her for any berth enquiries. Beach marshals will be on the waterline all day assisting crews in change overs and will handle any queries you may have.
Should you wish to join us for a few pints after the event and would rather put off the drive home, the Godolphin Arms in Marazion has hotel rooms (01736 710202) or camping is available at Wheal Rodney (10min walk – 01736 710605).
