Light to moderate Easterly forecast for next 5 days, mostly clear skies, some mist Saturday. Strong to very strong Easterlies on Monday / Tuesday.
For the racing this means:
The St Agnes races on Friday and Saturday morning will both be rowing into a moderate East / North East chop. Sunny with patchy cloud on Friday night, same on Sat possibility of some mist / fog in afternoon.
Sprints: On the port beam, more chop at the start and less as you get in the lee of the island near the finish. Sunny with patchy cloud, maybe some showers on Saturday afternoon.
Coming off neaps with high tide today (Thursday) 1400 BST with a small 2m range. By the end of the weekend we are moving onto springs and by Sunday we have a low at 1051 1.3m and a high at 1647 5.1m.
Will do some more info on the flow direction and rates later.
